agapefest 2010 May 5, 2010 Greetings, My name is Chris Emanuel and I am the Director of AgapeFest. For the past couple of years I have had the pleasure of working with Random Hero at AgapeFest. Random Hero made their first appearance at AgapeFest at our 2009 festival on the second stage and we have loved working with them ever since. Over the last year they have tremendous growth so we bumped them up onto our main stage. They did far better than any of us expected. Their front man Aaron Watkins got thousands of people involved in their music and message. Literally every single person was jumping and waving their hands to their songs. The band was also gracious enough to help us out in our rain delay by playing an impromptu acoustic set on our second stage that went over very well. Many people commented on how nice and outgoing the band was to their fans. I have personally noticed that their priorities on the road are definitely fan based. While many bands hop off stage and jump on the bus, Random Hero goes out of their way to meet their fans and build relationships before and after their sets. Following the festival we received a tremendous amount of positive feedback about Random Hero on our Facebook and Twitter accounts. Besides Skillet, Family Force 5, and the David Crowder Band we got the most hits for Random Hero. The fans speak for the band and I personally think they’re some of the nicest guys I have had the pleasure of working with. Not a single bad apple in the bunch. I highly recommend Random Hero! It is rare in the secular music industry, and in the Christian industry to find a group that is any easier to work with. The group is passionate about their music, and their positive message, along with their own personal attitudes that are as equally positive as the music they play. I booked Random Hero at AgapeFest on the second stage to bring a harder rocking band to our lineup, and I got more than that. Even though few of the festival goers were familiar with the band, they brought in the biggest crowd of the weekend just from the hard driving, and catchy music they play. Random Hero is also backed by a very strong manager, Mr. Scottie Flint who is just as easy to work with as the band.
